Deborah Novakova (Academic skills center, CERGE-EI) 7.3.2024

V rámci Research Seminar Series in Economics máme tu čest, že nám ve čtvrtek 7.3.2024 od 12:45 do 14:15 v místnosti RB437 bude přednášet dr. Deborah Novakova (ASC CERGE-EI) o „Writing and Presenting in Today’s Competitive Academic Environment“.

Registration is not required and anyone who would like to attend is warmly invited.

Deborah Nováková is the Head of the Academic Skills Center at CERGE-EI. She has been teaching at CERGE-EI since August 2012. She has gained professional experience at the University of Birmingham, at Maastricht University, and at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, Canada. Her presentation will not be about her current research, but rather about the core skills needed for writing and presenting in a current academic environment, pointing out the most common mistakes. This is especially suitable for Ph.D. students and junior faculty members.
