V rámci Research Seminar Series in Economics máme tu čest, že nám ve čtvrtek 5.3.2026 od 12:45 do 14:15 v místnosti RB437 bude přednášet Deborah Nováková (ASC CERGE-EI) o “Writing and presenting in the current academic world”.

ABSTRACT: Her presentation will not be about her current research, but rather about the core skills needed for writing and presenting in a current academic environment, pointing out the most common mistakes. This is especially suitable for Ph.D. students and junior faculty members.

BIO: Deborah Nováková is the Head of the Academic Skills Center at CERGE-EI. She has been teaching at CERGE-EI since August 2012. She has gained professional experience at the University of Birmingham, at Maastricht University, and at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary, Canada.
