The Research Seminar Series in Economics (RSSE) belongs to the excellent scientific activities at the university-wide level of VŠE. For those who know, these are standard external university research seminars. At the seminars, foreign scientists and professors give lectures about their current research projects. Thanks to these seminars, often unpublished projects by scientists from numerous prestigious world institutions are presented at VŠE, and the audience has thus access to “cutting edge” world-class research. During the semester, research seminars are held regularly every Thursday from 12:45-2:15 p.m. in room RB 437 (see Schedule for details and exceptions). The room has a capacity of 25 seats, however, registration is not yet required and anyone who would like to attend is warmly invited. Hybrid participation is possible here (link for 2026 Spring semester).

Important info for NF doctoral students: the course 55F902 Participation in the doctoral workshop takes place under the leadership of vice-dean Ing. Barbora Růžičková, Ph.D., from whom you can find more information regarding the requirements for completing the credit.
